Please Welcome to Law.com's Legal Blog Network: Larry Bodine
I'm pleased to welcome Larry Bodine's Professional Services Marketing Blog to the network of Law.com bloggers. Larry's blog covers "law, accounting and management consulting firm marketing, business and practice development, public relations, branding, Web sites, e-marketing, brochures, newsletters, direct mail" and more.
To deliver on this material, Larry's got the goods, as his bio points out: He is a strategic marketing consultant who works with law firms to help them generate revenue and get new business by coming up with business development strategies (A hot subject examined by fellow Law.com network blogger Bruce MacEwen in recent posts.).
Larry also coaches lawyers on marketing plans and the use of technology in those efforts. This last part is perhaps a much-needed area to coach on, as lawyers are notoriously fumbling (I'm ducking now) "late adopters" of technology.
His most recent post points out how some technologies are little-known to many people -- not just lawyers -- across the United States. He posts results from a Pew Internet & American Life survey that reveal surprisingly low understanding of terms like "Podcasting" and "RSS feeds."
This is an informative post, and a great example of technology that could be used in his line of work as a technology evangelist.
More here.
