Blawg Review Celebrates Bloomsday
It being Bloomsday, what better place to host Blawg Review than Dublin? Eoin O'Dell does the honors, hosting Blawg Review #164 at his blog cearta.ie. For anyone not baptized in the works of James Joyce, June 16 was the 1904 day in the life of Dubliner Leopold Bloom, chronicled in the novel Ulysses, and celebrated by Joyce's fans all over the world. O'Dell, fellow and senior lecturer at the School of Law, Trinity College Dublin, notes that the novel loosely parallels Homer's Odyssey, and his installment of Blawg Review loosely parallels Ulysses -- at least its chapter headings. To those who have tackled Joyce's dense and lengthy masterwork, fear not: O'Dell's roundup of the week's legal blogs is far shorter and much easier to understand. Oh, and there will not be a quiz.
