Ten Effective Law Firm Marketing Techniques

With a slowing workload, why not take the opportunity to work on marketing?  Courtesy of Larry Bodine at The Law Marketing Blog, here are ten of the most effective law marketing techniques.  The list includes spending money -- he recommends shelling out at least 2.5 percent of gross revenue on marketing, doing things like jazzing up your Web site with video -- and start with low hanging fruit by mining existing clients for additional work.  Bodine offers nine other tools, but the most important is this one: Don't waste money on marketing that is not measurable.  If you can't point to any results from a given technique, don't do it.
