Criminal Defendants Win at SCOTUS, Even Without BigLaw

A few weeks ago, I complained here about elitist criticisms by BigLaw firms that solos lacked the ability to represent criminal defendants before the Supreme Court.  Turns out that the quality of criminal defense can survive at the Court, even without BigLaw attorneys, as I've written in this follow up post at MyShingle.  Of the two major Supreme Court victories for death row defendants announced yesterday, one was obtained by a solo, the other by a federal public defender.
