Will Work for Wii
Desperate times call for desperate measures. No one would call Erik J. Heels of
Clock Tower Law Group a starving
lawyer, but he has a hunger, and he is willing to trade legal work to feed it.
His yearning is for the new Nintendo
Wii game system -- for his kids, of course! -- and he wants to satisfy it
before Christmas. But with Wii shoppers going
home empty-handed and Web sites tracking Wii
availability by the minute, Heels decided it was time to pull out all stops.
Thus, he announced yesterday that he will trade legal work for a Wii. I'll let him explain:
"I would like to get a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. You know, for my kids! They
are, needless to say, in short supply. So here’s my pitch, it’s a simple one:
get me a Wii before Christmas and I’ll file a provisional patent application for
you free of charge.
"Many of Clock Tower Law Group’s clients are gamers, so I figured this was worth
a shot."
Worth a shot -- absolutely! Which got me to thinking, "There's that Beemer I've been coveting
..."
