Two New Online Magazines

This week brought the debut of two online magazines aimed at the legal profession.

• The Web site fedcirc.us, launched just a month ago as a portal for patent case law (my review is here), now launches a paid quarterly magazine, The FedCirc.us Reader, and offers a free preview issue titled The Resolution. The magazine is described by its publishers as "jam-packed with all sorts of patent-caselaw goodness," including a "trend-spotting" article and case digests.

• Two law students have launched Consortium, described as a "journal of legal nonsense." Despite that description, a first-issue note from editor Pete Holiday concedes it "has taken a more serious and practical tack than I had originally envisioned." He promises that more humor and nonsense will be a top priority for issue two. The magazine is the co-creation of Holiday, a 2L at Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington, and Charlsie Paine, a recent graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law.
