Government Bans Computers... for Lawmakers
This story isn't directly related to the law, but it's so funny, I couldn't resist a post. Seems that the Parliament in Bhutan has banned its members from bringing laptops to work -- to stop them from playing computer games! Said National Assembly Speaker Nima Tshering, quoted in the article:
[L]aptops were turning out to be a "big distraction" during sessions. "I have seen many of our lawmakers playing computer games when others are debating serious issues," Mr Tshering said.
I don't recall ever having seen members of Congress playing computer games on their laptops -- though perhaps C-Span is a deterrent. What about you, readers? Ever caught a judge playing a video game during an argument or trial? Send us any interesting stories below in the comments.
