MoFo2Go iPhone App: 700-Plus Downloads and Counting
The early returns on one of the first law firm iPhone apps are in, with law firm Morrison & Foerster reporting that it is getting strong positive feedback from clients on the still-novel initiative. As previously noted by Bob Ambrogi on his LawSites blog, MoFo launched an iPhone app ("MoFo2Go") in March that
provides information and news about the firm, its attorneys and its
practice groups. Users of the app can easily view short bios of the firm’s attorneys, access firm news and client alerts, and get information about MoFo offices.
The ABA Journal website had an update on MoFo2Go this week from the app's brainchild, partner Mika Mayer. Mayer says the app was relatively inexpensive to create ("about the same as a fancy brochure"), and has been popular with clients. Mayer says that in the first few weeks, more than 700 people downloaded it, and "clients have raved about how easy it makes communicating with the firm."
